Hi Glitter Babes!
When it comes to lipstick, sometimes I like to try lining my lips with it first to get a really great pout (which doesn't always turn out that way) so I thought it was a clever idea when I saw that Annabelle had come out with TwistUp Retractable Lipstick Crayons, their own 2-in-1 that can be used either way!
They come in 12 shades from soft nude to bold purple and are formulated with natural ingredients like Omega 3 + 6 as well as Shea Butter to give your lips the special treatment that they deserve. These lipstick crayons are also paraben free and perfume free.
I wanted to try out at least two of the lipstick crayons on both ends of the spectrum so I bought Bubble and Royale. Words cannot express how impressed I was with the vibrancy of these colours! Both of them felt really comfortable on my lips and went on creamy and smooth. Twisting them up is easy peasy and the lids snap on so I wouldn't have to worry about losing one of them.
Price: $10 CAD each
Royale is a gorgeous purpley-fuchsia that is great on-trend lip colour for this season. It works well against my fair complexion and would look amazing on deeper complexions as well.
I thought Bubble was going to be a soft pink but when I swatched as well as applied it on my lips, it came out as a gorgeous pinky-coral. Of course I wanted to compare it to other MAC coral shades that I own because at first I thought it may have been a dupe for one of them. I compared it side by side to MAC's Nicki, Force of Love, Vegas Volt and Watch Me Simmer. As you can see in the comparison photo below, Vegas Volt and Watch Me Simmer seem to be the closest ones from my collection to Bubble but Vegas Volt has more orange and Watch Me Simmer is a bit darker.

The precision of the application makes these lipstick crayon undeniable to purchase. If you're ever afraid of not being able to comfortably apply your lipstick in low light or without a mirror, these are pretty fool-proof and I've been able to apply them easily in both circumstances. You're also able to use these babies up till the last drop which takes out the hassle of having to scoop out remaining product like in regular lipstick tubes.
I'm always on the go these days and I already have both these colours stored in my purse (for whatever mood I'm in!) and it's so much easier to apply than a lipstick tube and the colours are so much fun to play with!
Have you tried Annabelle's TwistUp Retractable Lipstick Crayons? Thoughts?!
Hugs, Kisses & Glitter,
