My March 2013 Favourites!

About Me, Dior, Favourites, Kellys Faves, Makeup Review, Marcelle, Real Techniques, Self Tanning, Smashbox, Tarina Tarantino

Hi Glitter Babes!

I’ve been slacking majorly on posting about my favourites for a LONG time, so I’ve decided to compile my top favourite products I’ve been loving so far this spring! I’ve got a ton of favourite products and since I know we’re already half way through April, I didn’t want to give up on posting what I used heavily in March because as I mentioned, I have A LOT of favourites that I need to share!

March 2013 Favorite Products

Tarina Tarantino Pearl Glow Primer: I’ve been using this primer by Tarina Tarantino a lot lately. I love how it freshens up the look of my skin and gives it a nice glow before I put on my foundation. I like that when I put something sheer over top, I can still see the glow the primer gives my skin!

Marcelle Glow BB Cream: Ever since I bought this little gem, it’s been my go-to for a soft, bronzy glow without the heavy feeling of a foundation. I’m a huge fan of the original BB Cream by Marcelle and combining that with my love for bronzed skin has made this one of my current favourite products to use!

Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Hyperlight: This brightening click pen reminds me of the YSL Touche Éclat and I like using it on top of concealer to brighten up my under eye areas and I also like applying it to my cupid’s bow on my upper lip to give the illusion of fuller lips and I’ve also tried it on my cheeks as a highlighter too! I love using versatile products that make my morning routine that much quicker and I can’t seem to get my hands off of this so I know it’s going to continue being one of my favourite products for the spring and summer!

Dior Diorskin Shimmer Star in Amber Diamond:  I bought this highlighter for my birthday and since then I’ve been smitten! Right now I’m all about looking fresh and luminous and this product helps me achieve that. A little swipe of it gives me enough of a glow and because of that, this highlighter is going to last me quite a while.

Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in Dusk: This bronzer is a lot softer and natural in comparison to the baked fusion soft lights bronzers, which I also love. Depending on how bronzed I want to look, I can swatch from the lighter end or the darker or mix it all up. I can get a lot of variety out of this bronzer which is why it’s been my most used bronzer lately!

Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty Eyeshadow Palette: I absolutely love deep green eyeshadows and since emerald is the colour of the year for 2013, this palette has been one of the top go-to palettes lately for me. The colours are so pigmented and fresh – perfect for the beginning of spring! I am SO happy I got my hands on this before it was wiped off of Sephora’s shelves 🙂 It’s a MUST-HAVE palette in my books.

Revlon Kissable Balm Stains: I am currently a Balm Stain-aholic!! lol I own all of the shades and can’t get enough of them! I love that I can achieve nude, bold pink or dramatic mauve or red lips with them! It’s such an easy way to get a put together look that works so well for any type of occasion because they feel like a lip balm, look like a lipstick and last like a stain! I really can’t choose a favourite but a few of the shades that I grab for quite often are Cherish, Honey and Precious.

Real Techniques Brushes: I have been using these brushes non-stop since I bought them. My favourites to use are the face brushes! I love buffing on my foundations, concealers and blushes/bronzers with them to get that airbrushed effect. They are so soft and easy to use to get a flawless face!

Jergens Natural Glow: If you’re looking for an AMAZING gradual tanning moisturizer that delivers deep colour within days, Jergens reformulated Natural Glow moisturizer has it all. The ‘tanning’ smell has left the building and been replaced by a light, fresh scent and it dries super fast! The colour is always gorgeous and natural looking and never looks streaky! When I’m out of my St. Tropez, this has been the latest gradual tanner (but pretty darn close to a self tanner!) that I gravitate towards!

I am currently writing down everything I’ve been frequently using this month for my upcoming April faves post. I can’t believe we’re already 1/4 of the way through the year! It’s weird that we’re finally getting warmer weather now and I can only pray that it stays this way! I’m definitely not a fan of cold weather 😛

What products have you guys been using a lot and loving lately?!

Hugs, Kisses & Glitter,
