Too Faced has quickly become one of my favourite makeup brands! I’ve been really loving all of their products I’ve recently bought as well as rediscovered my love for old Too Faced purchases. I have been trying to stick to a makeup ban until IMATS Toronto comes to town in November, which was why it was very hard to turn away from wanting two of the brand’s latest palettes, one of which was Pretty Rebel! This palette has grown a big place in my heart due to its deep, jewel-toned and gorgeous metallic eyeshadows and their fiercely rebellious pigmentation!
Let your inner rebel out with the help of the 10 eyeshadows included in the palette. And if you’re stuck with figuring out how to put together a badass makeup look, you also get a Glamour Guide containing three super hot makeup looks to try out. This palette is also paraben-free.

I was left very satisfied with this purchase because the eyeshadows were as stunning when applied/swatched as they are in the pan. The texture of all of them is so soft and smooth, while the pigmentation is beyond amazing. I was able to get a full work day’s use out of them (8am-5pm) without any fading or creasing. It is very reminiscent of recent Urban Decay palettes and I think that’s who they’re trying to go up against with this one. My favourite shadows are Girly because of that wicked green tinge it has at first and the beautiful colour it turns out to be, Totally Fetch because, of course, I love a bold fuchsia and Instigator because of how rich and bold it is. I was also really impressed by how easy it was to work with Miss Sparkles. I was mainly expecting a stubborn black that would be hard to blend out but it applied evenly and with great colour payoff. I also like the addition of the matte shades, which helps with balancing out makeup looks.
I think Pretty Rebel is perfect for anyone who loves a great collector’s worthy palette and loves metallic finishes and bold colours. You can create a multitude of different smoky eyes but you can also use shades like Dainty, Charming, Gangsta and even Girly to easily put together a softer, day-appropriate look.
This has been the last eyeshadow palette I’ve picked up and, in my opinion, definitely well worth it! Now I’ve indefinitely cut myself off from makeup purchases until IMATS. How do you manage sticking to a makeup purchasing ban? I definitely would like to know if you guys have any tips for getting through it because it’s kinda killing me! lol
