EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush Review

Brushes are now starting to get in on the action of precise application that sponges like the Beauty Blender and Real Techniques are coming out with. EcoTools has recently come out with their new Skin Perfecting Brush which is made with angled bristles to give you easy application around the corners of the nose and under eyes. What makes this brush even more unique is that it’s specifically meant for the application of BB/CC Creams and Tinted Moisturizers to give your skin softer coverage to allow your natural glow to shine through.

The Skin Perfecting Brush is made with cruelty-free bristles, like all EcoTools brushes, and a recycled aluminum ferrule as well as a bamboo handle. Even the packaging this brush comes in is reusable and made of natural materials, so if you’re looking for a very affordable, eco-friendly brand to buy your brushes from, EcoTools is a brand you can proudly stand behind.

EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush Review
Application with this brush was a little tricky and I found that it works best with cream products because it will take you twice as long to apply liquid foundations/BB Creams because the density of the bristles soak up most of the product leading you to use up more of it. With creams, it applies beautifully for a perfect, airbrushed effect, minus any streaks which can be seen when you use liquids. The angle of the bristles works really well in applying product to those hard-to-conceal areas and even applies cream blushes and bronzers amazingly well too.

I would suggest that if you do buy this brush to not use it for liquid products because you will end up wasting a lot of it. I actually do own a lot of brushes that I use for different things other than what they’re meant for so using this brush a little differently is not an odd thing for me.
