Jupiter Ascending is a movie starring the oh-so-gorgeous Mila Kunis and hottie Channing Tatum, which I’m pretty sad to say won’t be hitting theatres until next year, but it was the inspiration behind Pur Minerals new Jupiter Ascending Palette. It’s a shame that they couldn’t be released at the same time because this palette really is on another dimension of gorgeousness!
As well as being my introduction to Pür Minerals makeup, the Jupiter Ascending Palette contains six eyeshadows that are new and exclusive to the palette, as well as a full-sized light-up lip gloss and precision liquid liner.
Majesty: Pale taupe Destiny: Light cream Night Sky: Medium slate Jupiter: Medium red-pink Caine: Dark bronze-brown Cosmos:Pale iridescent white
The light-up lip gloss is called Galaxy and is a semi-sheer pale golden pink. The liquid precision liner, called Outer Space, is jet black. You can take everything out of the box to save space and the eyeshadow palette itself is a convenient size to add to any makeup bag and holds a nice sized mirror in it. Aside from lighting up whenever you take out the wand, the lip gloss also has a mirror on the side of it so you can touch up any time of day or night.

My Thoughts: This whole set is such a steal and the products in it more than deliver with their outstanding quality and performance. The eyeshadows all compliment each other and make for some very pretty looks. The rose-toned shadows really make green and hazel eyes stand out, which was a major plus for me also. The liquid liner was very easy to work with in creating a cat eye or intensely lined eyes. The lip gloss really stood out to me as well because even though it’s pretty sheer, it gives your lips such a beautiful shimmer. It isn’t sticky either and I also love adding it on top of lipsticks for some extra dazzle. I could totally see Mila Kunis rocking these colours on her eyes and lips! If you love a good deal that gives you more than what you’re paying for, this palette is a must buy! After all, it’s only $29 but the value of it is $124, so really how can you say no?!
What do you think of Pür Minerals Jupiter Ascending Palette? Do you have any Pür Minerals product faves you’d recommend that I try out?!
