Favourites, Greens, Guest Post, Review

Hey Guys!

I’m Amanda from Ginger Chic and today I have the honor of writing a guest post for the beautiful Kelly. Our theme this month was all things Green for St. Patrick’s Day. Since I am Irish, I LOVE St. Patrick’s Day so I was super pumped to write this. Today I decided to focus on my current favorite “Green” products!

1. The Body Shop – Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask

I recently purchased this Bouncy Sleeping Mask from The Body Shop and I am so obsessed! The idea behind this is that you apply it after you cleanse, tone and moisturize and sleep with it on. It aims to moisturize and retain elasticity and firmness of the skin. I wasn’t originally going to purchase this but the sales lady talked me into it after much skepticism and I am glad she did. The texture of this is very odd. Even just touching it, it feels so bouncy! It honestly reminds me of Meringue on a lemon meringue pie. This comes with a little spatula to scoop it out and then you apply it all over your face and when you wake up your skin feels so good! I can definitely tell a difference between when I use this and when I don’t. It makes my skin feel moisturized, smoother and just all around better. I haven’t used this enough yet to see any long term effects but so far I am a HUGE fan and can’t wait to see what else it can do.

This is my all time favorite green nail polish and it screams St. Patrick’s Day to me. It is a great bright yet muted green and it applies so nicely. I love the Quo polishes and this one is the perfect green!

March Guest Post 14If you have checked out my blog at all you will know that I am so freaking obsessed with these Foiled Eyeshadows. I have a full review that you can check out here. These eyeshadows are SOOO creamy and SOOO pigmented and SOOO metallic. You don’t need to add fix plus or anything to intensify these because they are that amaze-balls. You need them in your life. This green shade is called Jester and it is one of my favorites of the Foiled Shadows. The swatch above is one swipe and it is the most gorgeous olive/yellow color. If you love green shadow you NEEEEED this one in your life. You won’t be disappointed. I decided to do a look using Jester so that you can see how great it looks on the eyes.

March Guest Post 4For this look I used Jester all over the lid, and buffed Makeup Geek Frappe and Bitten into the crease. On the lower lash line I also added Bitten and a bit of Jester. I finished it off with some black liquid liner and big full false lashes.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my favorite green products. Make sure you check out my blog here! Have a great St. Patrick’s Day and enjoy the nice weather we have been having!
