Just like we do with makeup and skincare, I like rotating the fragrances I wear with the change in seasons. Here’s the current lineup of my spring fragrance rotation!
I’m pretty consistent with what scents I tend to gravitate towards but sometimes a unique, stand out scent comes along and makes waves for me.
Nicki Minaj Pink Friday: It was hard for me to believe that I would fall for this perfume but I did! It’s a lovely mix of refreshing fruitiness paired with creamy vanilla and musk. It’s a playful scent that isn’t overbearing which I can totally get behind and ignore the gaudy-looking bottle for.
Essence Like An Unforgettable Kiss: My hubby actually picked this one up for me and I’ve never been more happy with his decision! It has top notes of grapefruit, mango and mandarin orange, which is a summer fruit fiesta if I do say so myself, plus the base notes of musk and sandalwood make this one unforgettable scent for me.
Bath & Body Works Secret Wonderland: I’ve loved this fragrance since I was introduced to it a couple years ago and pretty much bought every version of the scent that B&BW came out with. It has a deeper fragrance due to the base notes of amber, vanilla, musk and sandalwood mixed together, along with the middle notes Jasmine and Gardenia. This is one of those scents that I can wear year round and it still works.
Calvin Klein Downtown (reviewed here): I like to refer to this perfume as the adult version of a sweet fragrance. I’ve been smitten over it since I first got it and love that it has a strong yet playful mix of citrus and white florals, with a touch of woodiness that kind of gives it that masculine edge.
