I received one from each offering which included holiday pantone polish #335, velvet diamond nail polish #48 and star dust top coat #753. The stand out polish has got to be the velvet diamond. With one coat, you get a super sparkly nail with a lot of dimension and with a second coat, the polish graduates into a velvety, 3D-like finish. You can use the velvet diamond polishes as a base colour or top coat for a unique look. The effect top coats range from an opalescent semi-sheer top coat to top coats with a bigger pop of colour and chunky glitter flecks. All of the polishes contain a UV filter which helps prevent the colours from fading so they last longer.
335 Holiday Pantone nail polish is a raspberry pink with a very subtle golden shimmer, which goes on smooth and completely opaque after two coats. I really like that there’s that hint of gold in it when you let the light hit your nails, plus the colour is a deeper pink which is very wearable for the season. 48 Velvet Diamond nail polish is a darker raspberry with more hints of red and features specks of gold glitter. The finish is really unique as one coat gives your nails a semi-opaque in a velvety sand-like texture that builds and becomes more textured and three dimensional when you add a second coat. I don’t have anything like it and really like that it adds something unique to the usual holiday nail trends we see and you can use it on top of other polishes, like the holiday pantones, to give them a unique spin. Lastly, we have the 753 star dust top coat which is as pretty as it sounds. It’s got a gorgeous opalescent shine to it that keeps getting even prettier when you add another coat to it. It can be used alone or to spice up a polish that looks ho-hum on its own. All three of these polishes took two coats and were really easy to apply, without any streaking and the drying time was pretty fast. Overall, this is a must check out collection for anyone like me who loves some glitter and pizazz polishes with unique offerings.
