This year, I’ve spent most of my money on not only ColourPop but products that make my skin look glowy and more effortless. One brand that I’d always been intrigued by is GLAMGLOW. Their products are all about achieving glowing, youthful looking skin, so I bit the bullet and bought a few products that I’ve been LOVING that help me look summer glam.
GLAMGLOW products help with everything from clearing up problematic skin to firming up your skin and are made to give you immediate results as well as a fabulous glow. The first GLAMGLOW product I picked up was the GRAVITYMUD Firming Treatment Sonic Blue Collectible Edition ($22 for 15 g / Available now at Sephora). It’s a peel off mud treatment that tightens and firms up your skin and features Sonic the Hedgehog! GRAVITYMUD contains a mix of marine algae plasma and biodefine polymers that help your skin feel tighter, a tea complex with licorice and marshmallow leaf which helps skin feel firmer, Soy Isoflavone Liposome Red Algae Extract makes your skin look and and feel tighter and more toned, and Icelandic Kelp, Hyaluronic Acid, and Mineral-Rich Glacial Clay work together to make your skin look younger and more resilient.
Another exciting GLAMGLOW purchase I made was because I was looking for a moisturizer that makes my skin look really glowy, since I was getting kind of tired of mixing illuminators into my moisturizers. So, I bought the GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer ($59 / 50 ml / Available now at Sephora) which is a hydrating cream that’s loaded with iridescent illuminating pearl particles that blur, reflect and enhance your complexion to give you a luminous finish in an instant. The moisturizer comes in 3 shades which include pearl glow, nude glow (the shade I bought) and sun glow. It’s formulated with vitamins, botanicals, hyaluronic acid and teaoxi golden root technology that gives your skin a boost of hydration and radiance.
The last product I picked up was the GLOWSETTER Makeup Setting Spray ($39 / 110 ml / Available now at Sephora). It’s a hydrating, refreshing setting mist that finishes your makeup, energizes your skin and boosts radiance for an instant glow. The spray is infused with green tea, white tea and red tea and charged waters and caffeine that hydrate, energize and smooth, which comes out in a weightless fine mist.

My Glittery Thoughts:
As my first venture into GLAMGLOW products, I am really impressed with how each of these products work. Each of them have their special “gifts” and really make my skin and makeup look a lot better. I don’t like looking greasy and both the GLOWSTARTER and GLOWSETTER add a nice radiance to my skin that doesn’t make me look gross. All of them are scented with a nice tropical type of scent. The makeup spray comes out in a fine mist that sprays evenly and helps when my skin is feeling especially dry. And I love that GLOWSTARTER comes in a few different pearlescent shades and I picked the middle shade because I wanted to add a tiny bit of colour to my skin along with the glow. It works really well under makeup and makes my skin look really dewy and glam. The GRAVITYMUD mask is a nice treat I like applying on weekends. The brush it comes with is very handy because the mask can get pretty messy. After you peel off the mask, it leaves your skin looking firmer and brighter which I’m always appreciative of. The price tag of some of these products (the mask especially was much pricier than the tube version that’s currently being sold) is a bit pricey but I enjoy the effect they give my skin. I would probably recommend that if you have sensitive skin to test the products out in Sephora before committing because I’ve heard that with the scent and the ingredients, they can cause some issues. If you want to look summer glam and don’t mind splurging a little to achieve it, I would definitely recommend picking up these products!
