Bite Beauty Love, Bite Lip Set Review

I don’t spend as much money on makeup and beauty products like I used to. Unless its got rave reviews and it offers something unique to my already overflowing collection, I will usually pass on it. A couple weeks ago, I checked out Sephora in Fairview Mall with the intention of just browsing because like most times I thought there wouldn’t be any products or sets that would sway me to pull out my card. But I was wrong. It was love at first sight with the Bite Beauty Love, Bite Lip Set.

Bite Beauty Love, Bite Lip Set ReviewAfter comparing the price of the set to the individual items in the case, it was too big of a bargain not to avoid it. Plus, it had one of the lip glosses that the girls from Dupe That recommended as being amazing and I REALLY wanted to get my hands on one and this was my opportunity. The Love, Bite Lip Set is a gift set that includes two Multisticks and a Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss, along with a floral print mirror. The Multisticks are made with 35% powder and go on like a cream and wear like a powder with buildable colour that can be worn on your lips, cheeks and eyes. The Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss offers a metallic, multidimensional shimmer to bare lips or over a lip colour. The set contains Multisticks in Cashew, a dusty taupe rose and Gelato, a light taupe pink, as well as Rose Pearl Prismatic Pearl Pearl Creme Lip Gloss, a metallic rose with violet and green shimmer.

Price: $45 / Available at Sephora

My Glittery Thoughts:

I’m SO in love! These babies exceeded my expectations and then some. Sure, I have more than enough nude lipsticks in my collection but the formula of the Multisticks is so beautifully comfortable and quite long wearing. The Multisticks go on like a regular lipstick but dry down to a matte that feels lightweight, isn’t drying or shows texture on my lips and the soft, powdery feeling they give lips is very comfy and moisturizing. I’ve eaten with them on and they stuck through with barely any touching up required. I can also use them on my eyes as a cool base for shadows to create some fun looks, so I like that they’re versatile as well. Now, where do I begin with the lip gloss?! It blew me away with how it dazzles in the light with reflections of rose, violet and some green. You will get compliments when you wear it! It is so unique and such a beautiful shade with a slightly sticky texture on your lips that is not a big deal. I love wearing it on its own or over top of the Multisticks, and I’ve been pairing it with other lipsticks in my collection for equally stunning results. This set is $45 with the Multisticks individually being $28 each which automatically puts you over $45 if you buy two separately, plus you get the gloss which is $25 and that just justifies this purchase for me and should for any of you guys who have been eyeing this set. I would run not walk to Sephora (or head to their website as fast as possible) and get my hands on this before it’s gone for good!
